ALWAYS PRIORITIZING THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR PATIENTS, OUR STAFF & OUR COMMUNITY

Dr. Degen On Treatment During The COVID-19 Emergency

The health and safety of our patients and staff are always our top priority. We understand there are growing concerns around Coronavirus (COVID-19) so we wanted to update our community on what we are doing to keep us all safer during this unprecedented situation.

We see one patient at a time in the office who are screened prior to and immediately upon their arrival. We require that you and if someone accompanies you, wear a cloth face covering or surgical mask as recommended by the current CDC guidelines. If any one is feeling ill or has any of the following symptoms, cough, runny nose, loss of sense of smell and/ or taste, fever, sore throat, congestion or shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting and/ or diarrhea we ask that you stay home. If we can assist you over the phone or via video conferencing (telemedicine/ teledentistry) concerning your chief complaint, we will.

Our patient care areas and any areas in the office that are regularly trafficked and used are routinely and often disinfected following the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and SNHD (Southern Nevada Health District) guidelines.

Here are some helpful tips to follow to avoid spread of any virus before you come to the office: please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands with soap and water. We also have hand sanitizer available at our check-in desks. Avoid touching your face. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands with soap and water. Do not hug or shake hands. Cloth face-coverings or surgical masks should be used.

This is a very dynamic situation and guidelines may change rapidly, we will do our best to communicate them with you as they become available.

Thank you for your patience and understating,

Mark I. Degen, D.D.S., M.D.
