About Dr.
Degen
Dr. Mark Isaac Degen was born in Brooklyn, NY. He attended New
York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor
of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. Upon completing dental school,
Dr. Degen went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from
Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans,
Louisiana. After graduation, he completed a year of General
Surgery at the Medical Center of Louisiana. Dr. Degen finished
his residency training at LSU in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
in 2003.
Dr. Degen has achieved outstanding academic and clinical distinction
in both medical and dental schools. He has received extensive
training during his residency in maxillofacial trauma, cosmetic,
pathology, reconstructive and orthognathic surgery. In addition,
he is well versed in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants,
and the management of temporomandibular joint disorders.
The doctor is currently licensed as a physician in the State
of Nevada. He is a member of the American Medical Association,
American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Degen has lived in New York City and New Orleans, both cities
with character, energy and entertainment. He has more recently
relocated to the exciting city of Las Vegas. He enjoys playing
his guitar, tennis, reading fantasy & science fiction books
and going out with friends.

Surgery Centre is located in the Colonial Bank Plaza at
4730 South Fort Apahe Rd. Suite 390, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147.
The office is located off of West Tropicana Ave., just one block
west of the 215 freeway, making it easily accessible from almost
any direction in the valley, but centrally located in the southwest
area of town.
